A Baby’s Life

Here are some of the frames from my 47-second animation, created for Anti-Apartheid Legacy, which explores the life of a baby after being abandoned in a white area during apartheid and the effects that the Population Registration Act had on her life. I was heavily inspired by multiple archives and news articles, particularly documentaries from the BBC.
